Nikka Session is a Japanese whisky. It comes from Nikka, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky, who studied his craft in Scotland.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Orchard fruit, malty depth and inviting depth.
Palate: Delicate smoke, joined by vanilla, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on citrus.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma.
