The Glenlivet Cipher 70cl

The Glenlivet Cipher is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Glenlivet, the distillery that started it all — the first licensed in the parish of Glenlivet, setting the benchmark for the smooth, fruity Speyside style.

This release is bottled at 48%.

Nose: Clean oak, gentle almond and inviting depth.
Palate: Ripe orchard fruit, joined by citrus blossom, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on honey.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
