Arran Marcherie Moor The Peated is an island single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Arran, the independent island distillery that put Arran back on the whisky map. This expression is a peated expression with gentle smoke woven through. Notes of green apple, soft spice and citrus run through to a satisfying finish. Best savoured neat, though a single cube of ice softens it nicely. A newer name doing things its own way, and winning admirers fast. With time and a drop of water, honey comes to the fore. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese.
