Balvenie 12 Years Old Double Wood 25th Anniversary Edition is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day.

This release is bottled at 40%.

Nose: Vanilla oak, orchard fruit and inviting depth.
Palate: Soft brown sugar, joined by gentle spice, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on malty depth.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
