Hatozaki Pure Malt is a blended malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Hatozaki, crafted at the Kaikyo Distillery in Akashi, named for Japan’s oldest stone lighthouse. Notes of delicate malt, gentle oak and light citrus run through to a satisfying finish. Smooth enough to sip, dependable in a whisky and soda or an Old Fashioned. A newer name doing things its own way, and winning admirers fast. With time and a drop of water, soft honey comes to the fore. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese. A bottle that earns a permanent place on the home bar.
