Lagavulin 2001-2017 Distillers Edition is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Lagavulin, one of Islay’s most revered distilleries, whose rich, deeply smoky malts define the island for many.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Maritime salt, long smoky sweetness and inviting depth.
Palate: Thick peat smoke, joined by lapsang tea, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on dried fruit.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass.
