Laphroaig 10 Years Old Sherry Oak Finish 70cl

Smoke and sherry here from Laphroaig! The legendary distillery on the south coast of Islay has gone and released a fab 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky which has been finished in Oloroso sherry casks for over 12 months, and bottled up at 48% ABV.
Aromas of TCP, Manuka honey, clove, smoked bacon, leather and pine tar fill the nose, complemented by notes of treacle, wax, toffee, maple syrup, dark chocolate, pine needles, chestnut honey and rich peat smoke throughout the palate.
