Laphroaig Select is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Laphroaig, the most uncompromising of Islay distilleries, whose intensely smoky, medicinal malts inspire devotion worldwide. Notes of tar and ash, sea salt and bold peat smoke run through to a satisfying finish. Best savoured neat, though a single cube of ice softens it nicely. With roots going back to 1815, it carries real heritage in every bottle. With time and a drop of water, seaweed and iodine comes to the fore. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese. A bottle that earns a permanent place on the home bar.
