Macallan 2019 Classic Cut is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2019. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release is bottled at 52.9%.

Nose: Dark chocolate, ginger and cinnamon spice and inviting depth.
Palate: Vanilla and toffee, joined by orange zest, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on rich sherried sweetness.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
