Balvenie 17 Years Old Madeira Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Baked fruit and caramel, orchard fruit and inviting depth.
Palate: Luscious dried fruit, joined by malty depth, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on sweet exotic spice.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
