Bunnahabhain An Cladach is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1881, is Islay’s gentle giant, producing largely unpeated, sherry-led malts by the Sound of Islay. In the glass it offers caramel and toasted nuts, with sherried fruit on the finish. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. The generous 100cl bottle offers excellent value. Hints of light brine add further depth as it opens in the glass. A natural companion for slow evenings and good conversation. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
