Macallan 10 Years Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release is bottled at 40%.

Nose: Rich dried fruit and polished mahogany, dried fruits and inviting depth.
Palate: Sherried fruitcake and dark chocolate, joined by vanilla and toffee, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on lingering sherry spice.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
