Macallan X Ray Makars Edition Full Collection is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release was bottled at 40%, at natural colour.

Nose: Ginger and cinnamon spice, dried fruits and inviting depth.
Palate: Orange zest, joined by dark chocolate, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on polished oak.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
