Talisker 30 Years Old 2006 Edition 70cl

Talisker 30 Years Old 2006 Edition is an island single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Talisker, the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye, shaped by its wild maritime location — “made by the sea”.

This release is bottled at 51.9%.

Nose: Black pepper, maritime smoke and inviting depth.
Palate: Sea salt, joined by a warming chilli catch, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on dried fruit.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
