Laphroaig 18 Years Old is a 18 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Laphroaig, the most uncompromising of Islay distilleries, whose intensely smoky, medicinal malts inspire devotion worldwide.

This release is bottled at 48%.

Nose: Sea salt, sweet vanilla undertones and inviting depth.
Palate: Seaweed and iodine, joined by tar and ash, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on bold peat smoke.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
